A Big Surprise from OCCU

Starting college is a big deal – moving away from home, meeting new people and diving into new surroundings. As students began their new journey at University of Oregon, we partnered with Oregon Community Credit Union to make the change even more exciting. OCCU is known for their remarkably nice service and their community involvement, so we knew Week of Welcome was the perfect opportunity to authentically showcase this while sharing random acts of kindness with young adults.

From gift cards for delicious local coffee to iPads that’ll help students take notes, we surprised students with hundreds of gifts – whether or not they decided to become members. To share their excitement, we created reaction videos for OCCU’s social channels as well as a landing page where prospective members could learn more about the credit union and their offerings.
