Shopping Made Easy with Technology

Like many complex purchases, floor shopping can be overwhelming. Crowded stores, limited samples and the daunting task of making a big purchase can cause customers to hesitate and often choose to postpone their purchase. To counter this and make the shopping process easier, we designed the Style My Floor mobile app for Quick-Step flooring.

Armed with insights about the journey shoppers take to a floor purchase, we designed this intuitive app using augmented reality technology to project an image over an existing floor. This allows shoppers to quickly and easily see how Quick-Step floor samples look in any room of their home, helping them match colors and see a wider variety than their local store might carry.

As digital AOR for Unilin flooring brands including Quick-Step and category leader Pergo, IQ has developed, and executes against, a consumer centric strategy designed around an understanding of how digital natives explore and progress through the modern consumer decision journey.  This includes work like this app, which is designed to intersect consumer lives and remove barriers.
