With a background as a writer, director and producer in LA, Tony Quin founded IQ in 1995. In 1999, he pushed IQ’s transformation into a digitally-focused agency. Throughout the years his brainchild has counted several Fortune 100 companies among clients, while winning numerous national and international awards including a Cannes Lion. Born and educated in the UK, Tony is founder of the Society of Digital Agencies (SoDA) and Chairman of the Board. Tony currently resides in Venice Beach with his wife Louann, less than a mile from IQ’s west coast office.


President + Chief Operating Officer

Kevin brings over 15 years of broad experience in marketing and advertising to his position. He provides humor, determination, and thrives on creating powerful work through collaboration that addresses brand goals and objectives. Kevin has a degree in Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations from Emerson College and an MBA with dual-concentrations in Strategy & Analytics and Marketing from Boston University. He also has a certification in Content Strategy from Northwestern University. Kevin has an enthusiasm for technology and has more gadgets and apps than anyone we know.


VP, Creative Director

Carol is a skilled creative leader with over 15 years of design and advertising experience. Born and raised in Miami, she studied Graphic Design at the University of Florida and began her career at SapientNitro. Throughout 11 years there, she led a team on several accounts including Visit Florida, Travelers Insurance, Seagram’s, and Dodge. Carol’s passionate about bringing clean design and pixel perfection to all the work in her department, while ensuring everything is strategic, engaging and creatively solves the problem. She has excellent taste in beer and pilots the agency drone with ease.


Group Account Director

Amy has 16-plus years of experience as a Marketing and Advertising professional on both the agency and client sides of the fence. She’s a driven, motivated, high-energy leader able to manage both the strategic and tactical sides of client business, with experience in brand building, strategy development, advertising production, and performance optimization. During her career, she’s partnered with clients such as Coke, Delta, and most recently AT&T with a focus on digital. When not working, she spends her time air traffic controlling her two little boys and cooking.


Director of Strategy

Over the past 20 years, Brian has worked on dozens of major national brands. While he began his career in traditional advertising, Brian’s broad experience in social and digital allows him to approach consumer insights from a more holistic perspective. He’s created brand platforms, brand strategies, brand architectures, and product positioning for MasterCard, General Motors, Major League Baseball, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Nikon, and Johnson & Johnson.  While he may not appear to be a Canuck at first glance, his cover is blown by the occasional “eh” or reference to soda as “pop.”


Senior Account Director

Walker has over 10 years of agency experience including five years with IQ. Raised in San Francisco, she received her BS in Advertising at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Over the years, Walker’s partnered with a number of regional and national brands including Google, Wells Fargo, Georgia-Pacific, Pergo, and Post Properties. She is objective-oriented and brings trust, communication and a passion for details to the day-to-day client relationship. IQ also trusts her with safeguarding our communal wine cellar aka mini-fridge in her office. Just in case.


Director of Project Management

With over 12 years of project management experience, Emily has shepherded thousands of jobs from embryonic stage to working magic for our clients. Her organizational skills are without parallel, and she’s a master of any program that helps the agency and our partners finish projects on time and on budget. Emily has an exceptional gift for communication, delivering all kinds of news with just the right touch. As the IQ’er with the longest tenure (besides Tony), Emily is at the heart of our company culture. Her downtime hobbies include the unlikely duo of Formula One racing and cats.


Associate Creative Director, Copy

Christian brings 15 years of agency experience to his role at IQ. With a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Davidson College and a degree in Copywriting from the Creative Circus, he began his career at creative shops in Atlanta and Tampa before spending seven years in Vegas working on the influential “What Happens Here, Stays Here” campaign and resort brands. Prior to IQ, Christian produced work for Mazda, Kellogg’s Racing, and Coca-Cola. His concepts and words have been recognized in Communication Arts, ONE Show, ANDY Awards, Archive, and renowned vintage car sites.


People + Culture Manager

Larissa is focused on supporting our growing employee roster and making IQ an incredible place to work. As a professional people person, she has a passion for connecting people to the work they love to do. Prior to IQ, she created her own role as Outcomes Producer at the pioneering General Assembly school and served as the lead recruiter and hiring manager. Larissa has a degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, and experience in coaching, full life cycle recruitment, and HR management. On weekends, she’s a seriously talented wedding singer.
